Service rules

Terms of Use

These terms govern how buyers, producers, and pickup partners use FarmLoop.

Pre-launch version

This document is a product and compliance foundation. It must be completed with the operator’s identity, address, registration details, governing law, and legal review before public launch.

1. What FarmLoop does

FarmLoop is a real-world commerce protocol for local pickup markets. It enables producers to publish offers, buyers to create programmable orders, memberships, or seasonal passes, and both sides to coordinate fulfillment. FarmLoop provides the interface and protocol; each producer remains the seller of the goods they list.

2. Accounts and access

You must provide accurate information, protect access to your account, and report unauthorized use. Some features require an embedded or connected wallet. Your use of FarmLoop must comply with the laws that apply to you.

3. Producer responsibilities

Producers are responsible for the legality, quality, safety, and conformity of their products and for accurate prices, quantities, allergens, storage conditions, and pickup windows. They must hold the permits, insurance, and tax registrations required for their activity.

4. Programmable orders and pickup

An order becomes binding according to the status shown in the app. The buyer must follow the selected pickup point and window. QR redemption or another supported verification method records fulfillment and allows the protocol to apply escrow, reserve, settlement, and dispute rules.

5. Prices, USDC, and Solana

Amounts and fees are displayed before confirmation. Eligible commitments are funded in USDC on Solana. A confirmed blockchain transaction generally cannot be technically reversed, although a commercial refund may be performed as a separate transaction under the rules that apply to the order.

FarmLoop does not provide financial advice, promise returns, or present USDC as an investment product.

6. Cancellation, refunds, and disputes

Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Rules shown at checkout explain cancellation options based on the nature of the goods, preparation status, and pickup timing. Requests can be submitted through the app or through the support form.

7. Content and moderation

Profiles, images, descriptions, and reviews must not be deceptive, illegal, hateful, dangerous, infringing, or harmful. FarmLoop may remove content, restrict an account, or request evidence. Users may report content or conduct to support and request review of a moderation decision.

8. Availability and security

We work to provide a reliable service, but maintenance, network incidents, Solana congestion, or third-party services may temporarily affect features. Sensitive order states change only after the checks defined by the protocol and backend.

9. Suspension and deletion

We may suspend an account in response to suspected fraud, user safety concerns, repeated violations, or a legal obligation. You may request account deletion through Delete my account.

10. Liability

Each party remains responsible for its own acts and legal obligations. FarmLoop does not replace the food-safety and professional obligations of producers. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Personal data

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law and contact

The final version will identify the governing law and dispute process based on the operator and launch countries. Questions can be submitted through the support form.
